The Bali-style décor of the spa takes relaxation -seekers on a day journey that embraces the integrative healing techniques practiced in both Western and Eastern Societies. One of the favorite massages offered is the Thai Massage traditionally found in Thailand with roots traced to India over 2500 years ago. It is unique and not often found in California , much less right here in Santa Monica . This technique combines stretching, acupressure and massage in a way that promotes a profound sense of peace that literally brought tears to my eyes. However, if you are privy to more traditional treatments, the facials would bring you to nirvana as well. Willow Spa takes facials one step further determining everyone's individual facial skin care needs in order to create a personalized skin treatment from one of the three featured skin care lines. With so many options for spa-goers seeking a "relaxing spa" experience or those looking for an exceptional deep tissue massage or acupuncture, it's no wonder the spa is quickly gaining momentum. There are numerous areas strategically placed through out the spa such as an outdoor water and fire garden perfect for contemplation or more tranquility. Inside the spa, which the owners and a team of dedicated staff members transformed into their personal vision of paradise, you'll find day beds, soothing beads hung from the ceiling, Buddha-style statues for serenity and protection, and dim lights soothing tired eyes. Darko Juric will take a comprehensive look at your stage of health by performing a Darkfield Analysis on your blood. The analysis looks at the size and color of your cells and compares your blood with healthy blood. As Uechi said, it's a "snap shot of what stage your blood is in when you come see him."
